A fabulous day of brewing and pickling learning how to make everything from scratch in the most natural way we know, for the most benefit to your health and well being, and to make the most of resources available to you.

This workshop will be a fun filled day of brewing beer, ginger beer, fruit wine, and cider from whole raw ingredients (not kits).  We will also make Kombucha tea, sauerkraut and lacto-fermented vegetables. This is a hands-on workshop where you will participate in all the different steps of the brewing and pickling process so you will leave confident to start your own.

Start planning and sowing your summer vegetable garden now. We will be covering site and soil, planning, sowing seeds and caring for seedlings, companion planting, making your own natural fertilizers and sprays, how to make your own nutrient enriched compost, and working with nature using lunar planting and understanding natural weather cycles. You will have to opportunity to plant some seeds for yourself plus take home some vegetable seedlings and companion plants.

If you want to grow nutrient dense food for the health and wellbeing of yourself and your family, this workshop is essential.

An awesome hands-on workshop making natural yogurt and a selection of cheeses which may include feta, mozzarella, camembert, haloumi, parmesan and blue. We will also have a live demonstration of separating cream and making butter the old fashioned way. We will be working with raw organic cow’s milk from a local source. At the end of this fabulous workshop there will be some home made cheeses to sample plus goodies to take home.
